Did you ask them to expedite it? I sure hope you get it!
Do you think your broken one could be repaired? Even if just for a spare?? It looks like maybe you can just replace the end with the broken bolt. One more question, what brand was it?
I was thinking the same thing. I'd also like to either start or end the day with Bates road. My track bar shipped today. The axle side of my track bar came apart just fine after i introduced my sawzall. That bolt would not come out. Got the mounts drilled out, new track bar will bolt right up.
Here's some pics we got from today. Was a good run, we ran Firebreak 5, Airplane hill filters, Rocky uphill and Rock garden.
Rock of doom on Firebreak 5 claimed a spot on Jason06rubi's tub.
After Rock garden we were planning to run Waterfall then Bates road and call it a day, however, Jay ( mckey73 ) had his alternator ( we think ) go bad on the top of Rock garden. I towed him off to hwy 6 then Jason and Jay went to find cell service. Jay now has a AAA subscription ( good to have ). Hope you get the Jeep up and going soon.
Jason, be sure to upload the video of FB5. We had a good time unk:
Jason, James - I can't thank you guys enough for your help today. Not only did you guys show me around the TSF but you also helped us to get home. If this is an accurate sample of the people here in Oregon I think we'll have a great time here! :thumb: The old joke that AAA was for old people has finally hit home, I'm old. The wheeling was totally rad, the company was great but it stunk to have the electrical gremlins put a damper on the day. Luckily my plastic Jeep didn't melt (2X).
We'll have to figure out a time for me to treat you guys to dinner!
Jay!! Glad you got home safe.... That's why we don't wheel alone. Never leave a Soldier behind period. Electrical stuff sucks:rant:
But, we had fun regardless. I got all my video saved so I'll upload hopefully tonight.
Seriously, Coming off that boulder onto my Poison Spyder rockers was priceless. Back tire slipped off smashing me down violently. Wouldn't have changed it a bit:beerdrinking:
I'm suppose to have Sunday and Mondays off but right now we have no other keyholder for the weekend so I have been having Tuesday and Wednesdays off. :-(
This will be it for me for a while. Taking Jeep to Nick and Dave. Outboring shocks, going to 12" shock from 8", taking tri link crap out of back, hi lining back, going to 4" Currie spring from a 5 1/2" RE spring.
Getting it lower and more stable. Sold my Hard top do to this
Nice videos! Well, I just replaced my battery and the voltage is about 14.5 while it's running. I'm hoping Dick's will take this $400 alternator back with a minimal restocking fee, I didn't even open the box...
