Wheeling near detroit lake?

I'm gonna be going camping there in a few weeks and was just wondering if anyone knew of any trails to take my jeep on over there or close by.
thanks!

This places list all legal trails in oregon Oregon Off-Highway Vehicle Association
there is a frame at the bottom with links. Click on the one that says Area it has a map of Oregon and the trails marked by number. Good luck. Hopefully someone that knows the area will pop in and give you more info.

I have a couple of suggestions, not wheelin' per se, but scenic off road drives :

1. Olallie Lake - head up the Breitenbush from the Detroit bridge, drive blacktop about 15-16 miles. Turn right where the powerlines cross the highway and head SE on dirt towards Breitenbush, then Olallie Lake

Old cabin on Breitenbush Lake :

The Breitenbush river starts right here :

Olallie Lake & Olallie Butte :

Camp store at Olallie Lake (did this trip on my bike) :

The road between Breitenbush & Olallie Lake is kind of rough, with lots of small exposed rocks - a little tedious, but should be no prob.

2. Overlook above Detroit Lake :

Head up French Creek Rd from the Detroit bridge and follow this map:

Enjoy this view

Let us know what you did !!

Nice, we camped at Detroit Lake State Park this spring and drove up the Breitenbush area in the snow..........
