There's a great view up there but the trails were a bit disappointing, there's nothing technical on either one. I think a stock 2wd Jeep Compass would do fine there.:hide: Hopefully that doesn't come off as rude, I know a lot of work and many years wen't into this.
I went up there on Sunday and the Deer Pen trail was fun. Did the south loop of Hagen Trail which made me pucker on the East-most corner of the loop turning to go up the hill.
We were going to do the Mountain View trail and rest of Hagen but when we stopped for a pee break, my youngest fell and bonked his elbow pretty good. He was pretty upset so we were done at that point and headed home. Short trip but fun... and my first proper off-roading with my JKU aired down and sway bar disconnected so I was stoked.
Sounds like a decent trip. Living out in Woodland Washington its kind of far making the trip to Browns Camp. I wouldn't mind checking this place out. So if anyone else reading this wants to head up and try easy trail let me know or plan a date so everyone who wants to attend can join.
Just looking at this weekend this Saturday is going to be nice in mid 70' degrees. Its going to be nice to ride this trail with top down. I'm planing to be there around 11am. Let's see who else want to try this new place.
