I found a Wrangler

I found a 2002 Wrangler X 96K miles ,automatic, 4.0, soft top, lifted 5.0 for $9200.00. It also has new B F Goodrich all terrian tires on it. I think it is a good price. What do you guys think? The only thing I don't like is the lift. It is a bit to high for me. How much would it take to lower it?

If you dont like the lift then dont buy it. It will probably end up being so much more of a hassle to try and get the suspension the way your comfortable with it then to just find another jeep thats suitable for what you want.

take your money and put it towards a new sport. With a 10k down payment, your monthly cost would be around $150-200.

Dam- that's nice "not a jeep gal" what's wrong with you! Lol--I'm Jk

The interior looks a lil tacky but overall that's a nice jeep. Looks like it got a paint job?

To Wrangler57:
If the problem is getting into it, look into getting a step and an "Oh s**t" strap for the roll bar to assist you - unless you just don't like being up that far off the ground.

To pinkchrome:
Nice gesture by your dad, but $8000 at an auction for a stock vehicle that was repainted? (lose value for the orange and black color scheme.) Looks like a Maaco special paint job.
It's also an automatic. Not a favorite among Jeepers.

He could have done better in a private sale and known about possible issues. Too many auctions where I live are vehicles that were brought in from flood states. Won't touch 'em.

Hooray for Dad! Getting a Jeep for daughter. Repainting is an easy fix.

A jeep as a gift, c'mon take it, love it and enjoy the jeep lifestyle. Myself new to the Jeep this year, love every minute of driving topless.. congrats.
