Nashville Area

Hey guys,
I just moved to Nashville and on the way up I experienced death wobble. I think the play is in the draglink and the steering box is leaking too. I need to inspect all of the other joints too. I live in an apartment and they'll flip when I start making a mess in the parking lot. I also don't have all the tools either to get the track bar bolts apart. I'm kind of stuck since I don't want to drive it very far in its current condition.

Anybody in the area want to help diagnose it? I'm sure there is somebody who could use a hand on a project in exchange.

Does anybody feel like helping out a fellow jeeper? or at least recommend a good shop that's not going to burn me and is good with suspensions and JK's

Thanks for any help.

Check out essentially off road in Murfreesboro. They'll set you straight.

Welcome to the area! Essentially Offroad in the 'boro is good..So is Travis at M.P.G. Offroad in Pleasantview, TN just north of Nashville. There are some FB pages to get on to as well. Volunteer Jeepers; Nashville Jeep Club; and Clarksville Offroad. Lots of good people!!

What have you done to your jeep? Lift of any kind? Sometimes wobble is just a severe shimmy. Adjustable trackbars and AEV control arms relocation bracket might fix you up.

Mostly aesthetic changes and minor repairs. Looking to ease into some bigger projects. Would be great to get with some other gear heads to work on projects. Looking at replacing a head gasket in a couple weeks. I have an enclosed area to work in and a decent tool collection.
