I need some advice about where to go four wheeling in or near Chattanooga, TN. I am new to this, but I have done Haley road in Prentice Cooper a few times. Thanks.
Check out Adventure OffRoad Park on their facebook page. They plan on opening up near the end of March. Other then that there is really no other legal place to go nearby.
Also theres public trails on bakewell mtn but you need 33s and to be disconnected.
Then theres lewis chapel, which is public land, but the county has closed several entrances due to drunk idiots wrecking Atv's in the middle of the night.
Bake well can be accessed thru sale creek or off hwy 111. Big ride on Aetna tomorrow Sat. 6/7. It's not an official ride or anything but the band Husky Burnett will be playing at 8pm at Peanut Butter hole.
Sorry jr but it's been so long since I've been on bakewell I wouldn't know where to go in anymore. If ya wanna hit Aetna sometime I can help ya with that. I was there last night but broke rear driveshaft on 8.8. If things go right I'll ride some where next weekend. If interested hit me up if like to get a crew together.
I went to bakewell a couple weekends ago but go So far and I wasn't sure which way to go. I turned around and went back. I was by myself and afraid I'd get stuck and had no cell service. I had my wife and kid with me too so it was riskier than I felt comfortable with.
The most recent post above yours is from 2014. Perhaps your post will awaken your fellow Tennessee Jeepers to begin posting here.
Another place to check for off road enthusiasts is Facebook. Some clubs post runs and meets there.
Good Luck, L.M.
