I'm new to the jeep forum. I'm in the Nashville area. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with painting your jeep this way. My CJ in my profile picture gets touched-up with rustoleum every once in a while, but we just got my wife a TJ and its tan. She would like a lime green color or burgundy. I am wondering if a DIY rattle-can job over the whole body would look decent or if I need to just have it professionally done. Below is her jeep. We haven't started fixing it up yet. I'm just curious about what others have done. Also, please post pics of your work if you've done it. Thanks.
I've tried to tell her once we get the black accents for it that it'll look sharp. Hopefully she will change her mind. Black tube bumpers. Tube side bars. Black soft top. It'll look sharp
Plasti dip if you want to just play around, but if you want to permanently change the color, do it right. You will SERIOUSLY regret a rattle can job. Especially on that nice a Jeep. Just my opinion
2" lift and some new shoes will definitely do the job...Enjoy whatever route you choose.....
