hey gang, i thought i would ask here if any of you know a good place to pull my motorhome around the lousiville area so we can stay for awhile ,

my daughter is staying at the mc dowell center for the blind for a few months and the wife and i would like to stay near by..

i have seen the signs for taylorsville lake and guist creek,, i dont know anything about these areas so if anyone has any input for us i would greatfully appreciate it..or any other rv parks..

also should i tow my yj in case there are some trails to hit while im there..
thanks in advance....

I am having a hard time thinkng of another place to camo other than Taylorsville lake. I think I now where the Mc Dowell center is westport rd just east of 264? would actualy be fairly easy to get there from the KAO just not a hole lot of scenery there but there is very easy access to the interstate frome there. Trafic from Taylorsville is can be a real pain durring rush hours but smoth through off times but what isnt all you have is a 2 lane for several miles to get to the interstate. Clarksville may seem further but you get on right at the bridge take 71 to 264 and second exit you are ther maybe 6-8 miles.
