Gateway to cumberlands Jeep Jamboree

It is this weekend, anyone going? I can't wait to check it out, hoping to get lots of pics!

Rick and Travis from IAJ/ Bluegrass/ Forever Forgiven Off-Road will be there. Rick is a guide I believe.

Yes, Rick will be guiding. Trey was there with Rick last month helping clear the trails. You will have a blast! Take lots of pics

I would love to go but my work schedule won't allow it this time. I did get to go on part of that trail in August (my father-in-law owns some of the land it goes through ) and it was beautiful out there.

Hope everyone has a good time and takes lots of pics for those of us that can't make it!

We are here, meeting some nice people, seeing some awesome jeeps.

GTC is coming up in OCT 18-20, 2012


Also another good one is Cullman JJ in Cullman Alabama on Nov 1-3, 2012. this a a great one for beginners and advanced jeepers alike, plus Stony Lonesome ORP is putting on an additional ride for the people which starts AFTER the end of the Jamboree.......which means it is a night ride Yaahhh!!!! Gonna have fun!!!!

if anyone is going from my neck of the woods let me know,,,i will try and tag along...

carter, rowan,mt,sterling, lexington,greenup,ashland,lewis,elliot,--my yj has never been on a road trip that far...and it would be great to have some fellow jeepers to wheel down with..

Are there air stations at the Jamboree. I want to be able to air down, but waiting with 250 other Jeeps to air back up will suck. Should I bring my portable compressor?

I have not been there but am going to one next week in Hot Springs and I will be bringing my C02 tank for sure. Have a great time.

For general purpose posting, YES, bring a way to refill your tires. Several trails are quite a distance form the town. We most always stop at the beginning and the end of the trail for maintenance.
