I got stuck there for a while. That's my friend trying to get me out. He would take my picture he was to busy laughing at me. I had to have some one with a cummins come me out and broke the plastic part of my bumper off. You should've seen the mud when I pulled away from the car wash I forgot to take a picture of it. And the inside. Lol and my transfer case is going out or already broken. Just another thing I have to get fixed before our ride in may

man it doesnt pay me to even wash mine im in mud every day--lol,,,it has been a muddy winter for sure, and like i have said i live on a farm and it is my farm jeep..

yours looks like mine after a day of heavy rain----clean,,,,and thats before you went to the wash---lol

another tip---dont want to mud without your rear fender flare,s with your window down ,, you will wear as much mud as your jeep----lol---i pulled my flares off so i can rattle can it and have not painted it yet but still wheeling and waiting on the weather to warm up so i can paint and put my flares back on..

Really? Lol I'm needing to go finish washing mine. Like the under belly and all the mud on the inside. I'm thinking got soapy water would work really well. I want to paint my flares to once it warms up. How long can I go before I clean underneath it? I should've done it yesterday while it was still fresh but was in a hurry to get to work. Would it be ok to wait til tomorrow when it'll be warmer? I only drove about 12 miles today and another 12 tomorrow.

we have good ole clay mud here and the sooner you wash it the easier it is to come off, or wait untill we get some more rain and drive around for awhile in it will make it easier to spray off---or you can cheat and put a sprinler from a garden hose under it and let it rinse for a good while then hit the car wash..

I have never thought of that. That's a great idea to get it all loosened up. Thanks!! That's what I'm doing when I get home to save my quarters!

i need to build another garage,,,i have a 4 car garage that is full of mustangs, a barn, and 5 sheds that are so full you could,nt fit a table spoon in,,i think im going to renovate the 30x50 shed into my garage starting today,,it will need alot of work seeing it was a wood working shop for over 40yrs and since then has become a catch all and now the floor is giving way...--yep that what im doing,,,may even take before and after pics.

You're telling me. I have to still replace my u joints rotors and brakes (hopefully next week) then get a transfer case and replace that to. It doesn't seem like a lot but I'm sure more stuff will come up as I'm going through that. I still haven't even had a chance to wash the underneath

He's in the shop at my school right now and I'm working on it after lunch today. I'm thinking about getting a different brush Gaurd soon and I am going to have some one look at my 4wd in Paducah next weekend as soon as I get my jeep back.

Here's my baby as he was tuesday. I don't know if anyone has worked on him since but I haven't. Hopefully we'll be back on (and off) the road soon!

How's your's doing?

Update after working on him today. Got the hub off of the drivers side front tire. About to tear the rest of it down to get inside. All the bearings and seals look good.

On the passenger side I am still taking apart the hub and hopefully will get it down far enough to replace the u-joints on both sides tomorrow. I'm spending almost all of my electives tomorrow working on it.

Hopefully we'll be back on the road next week. I have my fingers crossed.

Good luck to your garage renovations! I hope you don't run into as many problems as I do when I'm fixing something!

Speaking of that, I got my axels out today! My u joints are ready to replace next time I'm in class, then we put it all back together and good to go! This is the sorest my arms have been ever from wrenching. Lol I'm so proud of my self. Even my teacher was excited when we got the axels out. He practically shouted "I can't believe a girl is doing this!!"lol I think he's proud of me to. Here's some pictures of today's progress. He was laughing at me for taking pictures of it. Lol

I'm almost done with my junior year. Actually you know how we're planning to go to lbl may 17-19 (that weekend) well, that Monday is the last day off school. I'm going dirty topless and doorless. Lol

That's just how jeeps work. At least mine anyways.

I'm in BG as well. Maybe I will be able to make it also. Was at Turkey Bay a couple of weeks ago on my ATV and had a blast. Would love to take the Wrangler over for a work out!

If I have to go I'm not going to try. And if I have auto tech I'm going to take him up there and show him off! Everyone jeeps saying how much they want a jeep when I bring mine up there. And they won't be able to steal my doors this time! Lol

And yeah you can come!! It'll be fun with more people!

Marshall county. Western Kentucky. We're planning on going to LBL. Probably turkey bay unless any one else has any ideas. I'm going to post it in my off roading group to so hopefully we'll have a ton of jeeps out!
