Hey just thought with all the recent interest and the amount of individuals I've seen here in the Louisville area, Southern Indiana and surrounding counties that it might be cool to get together and introduce ourselves and maybe plan a run to Dirty Turtle or someplace?
Lets try to set a time & place to meet up that works for the majority of us. I was thinking maybe a Sunday afternoon since it seems a lot of people have Sundays free.... Any thoughts or suggestions?

Someone brought up a good point... A lot of people use Sunday for working on their Jeeps & watching Football during NFL season. So it would be better to have a meeting thru the week after work. Maybe on a Tuesday or Wednesday?

I'm up for a local meet n' greet. I'm still working on getting my rig trail ready but would love to make contact with other Jeepers in the area. Sundays and Mondays work best for me but I'll adapt to what works best for everyone else.
BTW I can't figure out how to accept friend requests from this app. I'll take care if it next time I'm on the laptop.

I will look into a place that we can meet over the next week or so... If anyone has any suggestions, shoot'em my way. Maybe get a pizza joint or a Hooters or someplace to let us use a small area as long as we buy a pitcher of beer or snacks or something...lol

My schedule depends on the wifes schedule. But she works from home, so it shouldn't be too awefully bad. I know of a good pizza place, but its in Simpsonville...I don't know if it would be too far for the folks from Louisville, just an idea. I know the owner fairly well. If you're interested, let me know and I'll talk to him.

All the best,
CKH

Hey guys I have not forgotten about this, but have been slammed at work with no time off and I have my son visiting this weekend. I will try to get some info out to you asap. If any one else wants to find a good place to hang let us know. I think Cox Park would be good to meet for a rendezvous point when doing a ride or something. I know Hooter's has Bike nights maybe we can talk a manager into starting a Jeep night and get more people out? 'course maybe that wouldn't be such a good idea either... don't want it to get too big and out of hand. I think small tight groups are best personally....

I think it would be a good idea that as a first meet up it's someplace that people can see each others jeeps and be able to talk to each other with out causing a problem for the proprietor in their parking lot

Thats probably a good idea until we can get a business to let us occupy a table or two when we do finally get a meet-up going. What do the rest of you think?
