I've got a bunch of parts from when I had my TJ that I need to get rid of and not sure what they're worth.

Engine, transmission, transfer case with a new chain still in the box and a new belt for the motor and the computer box, engine has 110k miles on it.
The short original console
Third brake light
2 e- brake boots
New trailer wiring harness (fits 90-97 models)
New gas tank straps
The bars that connect roll bar to windshield
Tie rod
Some other stuff I can't think of right now

Any ideals what some of this stuff is worth?

Would he want the transfer case and the new chain also. The only aftermarket stuff that I am sure of are tinted plastic front fender covers.
Here's some pics' of the engine.

Decide what you HAVE to get for the stuff... then add 10-15% to give you haggle room and make the buyer feel like they got a good deal too. Compare on Ebay and Amazon to give you what equivilant items are selling for...

Yep, but I've found the prices on e-bay are all over the place, and none close enough to our area to get an ideal what it's worth around here. Gotta price it higher because most want to haggle on price -part of the fun of wheelin and dealin!
And if someone wants you to price something not for sale make it high enough that you won't get but hurt selling it at that price or simply refuse to put a price on it.

What kind / size V-8? If he does it himself or has someone that can do it right he'll be pleased with the results. Had a CJ5 when I was younger that had a V-8. Almost too much power for a CJ5, but it sounded sweet.
Kinda figured if he had a 4 he would do a swap unless it was a DD.

He's got a 97 tj we are going to install a 305 engine out of a chev pickup. I have done this with a couple of CJ's that turned out great. So figured it can't be much different. Also going to do axle up grades haven't decided on what we are going to go with there yet. So be a good project to keep us busy for the winter maybe longer. If his money situation works out.
