Best time to go is from October through March. Typically, TVA drops the lake level during that time and you can drive around the rocky trail that follows the shore of the lake. It's a beautiful drive. The rest of the trails are also wet and not as dusty during this time for an added bonus.
Got a couple of Things to start the New Year off.. For starters, got a CB & fuel door for Christmas.. Yet to be installed. Also added a little bling* Went to Turkey Bay, KY for a 1-1-13 ride. Was a bit sloshy, but fun. However, I happened to create a new project while there.. Busted a bushwacker flare and cracked 2 others. I think I'm going to chop the lip off and turn them into flats(ish). I'll also need to find a plastic welder for cracks. Followed by a sanding and Bedlining to finish it up..
Finally arrived at Ft Campbell! So anyone gonna make any weekend runs anytime soon? It will be my first time there, so I'd prefer not to go alone, if i actually wheel and not sight-see.
too many four wheelers, utv and moto x bikes. They fly around with no respect to anyone else. never know when one will cross your path WFO. Other than that it is very enjoyable and senic.

Come on Melvin, it's not really that bad. I've been there a time or two and didn't have any problems with the ATVs. You just have to pay attention and it's pretty clear sailing.
Missouri boy here. Thinking about coming over to turkey bay April 13th to help with the trail clean up. My 8 yr old son will be tagging along. Do you guys think it will be kosher for him? And worht the drive.

I do. Im heading to the clean-up with Clarksville Offroad, and the plan is to get some wheeling done while were at it. TB is fun, you should come out.
