We plan on being there if nothing comes up. It was fun last year meeting several of the members here. I hope more folks chime in and say they are going.

It was pretty dusty last weekend to, but we still found mud puddles It was dusty enough that I wish I had my doors on, would have saved ALOT of cleanup

Well dodged a bullet, I hope only one for the ride. I went to start JK to run up the road a do a fav for a friend and, click, click, no start. It was 100 deg today and I had noticed bat has been sweating for a while. I checked it and it had 12v and was charged to 95%, that didnt matter as I swapped one off another veh and it started right up. Im sooooo glad that didnt happen on the back side of TB. Being the JK does not have a alt gauge I really dont know if its over charging or not. But Im gona bet OEM 2008 battery 78k miles is about right I guess. Being so hot latley Im sure pushed it over edge. Will be at gate at 9am or so if nothing else goes wrong.

I completely forgot about you guys planning on coming up... OOPS! we had a hectic day. We had a TJ lose the radiator drain plug and dump its water (totally strange). I was riding in my buddy's XJ and the pass. airbag blew on me riding down trail 5 @ 5 mph. We had a stock JK end up with some rocker damage trying to get turned around on the first hill bypass that had to be winched off. We had to run up a hill and strap off a TJ (with 3 ppl to the rocker guards) that started up a hill that turned really washed and bad off camber down by undertree. We ended up winching a YJ that fell off the wall in gauntlet but he made it up on the second go! On top of that it was HOT today! I went through 5-6 bottles of water and a gatorade... all-in-all, it was a GREAT day of jeeping!! pics of our ride can be seen @ www.photobucket.com/iajlaborday2011
