Offroad trip/ Camping trip

I have been doing a lot of looking and have found a bunch of places to go on a trip and do some wheeling/camping. There seem to be a lot of good ones in Alabama such as Morris Mountain ( http://www.morrismountainorv.com/parkinfo.html ) or some parks listed on Off Road Alabama . I am just curious as to see if any of yall would wanna get together and plan a group trip to one of these places for a long weekend? I am sure there are some in LA as well. If you know of more local places or anything else, by all means, chime in..... Just trying to gauge the interest of something like this amongst the forum members....

-Andy

i got some info on that trip. the prices are

$25 for the jeep
$10 per head in the jeep
$10 per night if you have your own tent.

if you have a military id it is
$21 for the jeep
$8.50 per person
$10 for camping

now that $25 and $10 for the admission is a one time thing as long as you don't leave the park. it's over 900 acers of trails, mud boggs, and a rock section.

here is the link to the site.
Boggs and Boulders
I'll let you know on the dates that we can go. Its looking like sept, or october.

I would be interested in this trip as well, especially if it's after the weather cools some.

Hey 59sound, there are a few of us from Baldwin County planning a trail ride at the north end of the county on one of the wildlife management areas this Sunday. We are going to ride from Hwy. 112 down to the Perdido River. The roads are pretty good and most of the wet places aren't too bad.
PM me if you are interested in joining us.

...and those first two weeks of September aren't exactly cool either.

I know a group of folks that would be interested after the weather cools. Just bump this thread again in late August, maybe the long range forecast will be a little cooler.

After Oct. 15th I'll be spending most of my free time attached to the side of a tree with a couple of sticks and a string until the end of Jan. next year.
