98 Jeep Wrangler Starter Relay Help

Hello All - my first Jeep. When I bought the 98 4 cylinder Wrangler, I noticed that it didn't have a cover on the power distribution center box (fuse box under hood). I ordered the top from MOPAR and when I tried to put it on, the starter relay has like a fin that sticks up off the top with a hole in it (looks like a small handle) that won't let the top fit down on the box. I went to Autozone and they did not have a starter relay. They said to just cut it off. I want to buy another before I whack on this one. Where can I find one? Why does this one not allow the fuse box to close? Thanks for any and all help.

Is that relay plugged into the electrical distribution box? If it is and is identical to your picture you can cut that tab off. That is not an original relay and that tab is for mounting the relay to a bulkhead. That looks like just a relay for lights. Clip that mounting tab off and be done. Those relays are available at most any auto parts store.
