No man no fees, its a state park, and where we will be camping is free as well plus its right on the creek. Im not sure when we are leaving to be honest, it all depends on when everyone else can go.

I live in LR. Got my first Jeep yesterday. Looking forward to finding some places to drive it! Hopefully can find some ideas here. Have a great day!

OOh yea! You have loads of options in AR!
You have SMORR in Missouri and Superlift in Hot Springs, not to mention all of the trails that run out through the countryside.

If I'd known then, what I know now.... I would have bought a place in AR instead of TN.

So Kate, that's why you keep haunting the AR board. We'll let you move over here, I'm sure all these nice folks would accept you and Ajax and I'd love to OBM a little closer.

But seriously Kate's right MidSouthJeeps and AR Crawlers are both great groups to hang out with. In my experience most of the Crawlers are running mega built rigs and are serious wheelers. MSJ has rigs of every level and are very welcoming of newbies. (I know I was one just last year and I still have ALOT to learn.) But if you want to run the 4s and 5s at Superlift there's always someone crazy enough to go with you. Joining MSJ is the best $25 I spend every year. I've made great friends and found people who don't think its crazy to play in the rocks.

I'm in Greenbrier and I certainly hope none of you are in the Jeeps I pass every morning when I'm driving southbound on 65. I pass 6-7 Jeeps every morning and only 1 guy in a light blue, nicely built TJ ever waves back. I've given up even waving at the JKs.

So don't forget to

I took mine down to the off road park in Hot Springs. Superlift ORV Park. They were really great there, since I have never been off road driving in my life. They explained to me how to prep my jeep (I sadly did not know to let out the air in the tires..so glad they told me that one), and then highlighted a trail that was made for n00bs in stock base model Jeeps. It was the so much fun!! I plan on buying their annual pass so I can go all I want. I just need to get some customization done on my jeep to do some of the harder trails. Hope that gives you an idea of a great place to go. Have fun!!
