Well, we have a time, place, and location....is there anything else we need to do?

I'm just glad to finally get to talk to other people in person about Jeeps. LOL

The forum is great, but face-to-face is much better. Plus my non-Jeep friends are getting sick of me talking about my Jeep. :)

Decide if we are wheelin' or not, I'm game if others
Are. Superlift is about 30~ mins from Bryant- and
Cost may be an issue for some. I guess everyone should say
Yay or nay when confirming for the 12th.
And it will be nice to talk shop with others, I have lots
Of questions.

I'm 50/50 about wheelin. Still a newb and hate it but everyone has to start somewhere. I'm sure I'll end up succumbing to peer pressure. :)

I hear ya on the questions...I have a few myself. Can't wait to get to the point where I can actually answer other people's questions. LMAO

I'm in on both the meet and greet as well as putting some gravel in my travel.

Barmanvarn, I'm like you, I have no mods on my Jeep other than bigger tires, but from everything I've read on the forum / Super Lift website, we should have no problems with 1's and 2's... Should we want to add more to our adventure, I have no problem parking mine and riding shotgun with someone experenced.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

I'm on the mobile forum; how is your ride setup barmanvarn? Pretty much factory? The trails down there are so well marked and level 2's are like driving a hilly dirt road, not bad at all. I think they recommend at least the rear locker for level 3's and for 4's and 5's you gotta be locked front and rear with a winch. You can take yours on 3's and ride with me on some 4's- see what it's like.

I'm running 33s w/ a TF leveling kit. Winch is (hopefully) going on this weekend. Have to relocate that dam vacuum pump first. UGH.

Lockers are on the list but it'll be a while until I can get around to that.

I'm down for getting off the pavement and may take you up on your ridealong suggestion. thanks!

I'm down for time and place and would LOVE to do some wheeling! I think the boyfriend is tired of me swirling for mud holes! :) please oh please can we go play?!? :)
All this damn rain we had has got me thirsty for muddin...can't wait to get there. I don't have D Rings or a winch or lockers but can drive like Sumb:+ ch

I'll be spending tomorrow trying to relocate the vacuum pump so that I can mount the winch that's been sitting in my garage for about a month. :(

Brian,

If i can help you; Im pretty handy with a wrench. I run a part time mechanic business. I can help with whatever...I have air tools and just about everything youll need to fix it up. That goes for anybody who needs tools!

Dont worry about doing something stupid...thats what the winch is for!
I know I am ready for some level 4's, and it will be my first time on a 4. I would love to wheel around with everyone down there and then toward the end have everyone pile in and go down the harder trails with me...just about gotta have a spotter for those rocks. And as far as tearing stuff up....well....you pretty much will if you get over a level 2. Just plan on poping a tire, getting a scratch, or something, Hopefully nothing will happen, but just come prepared for the "what if"
Jeepnjennifer: Is that "Jackman" in your pictures? Or at least thats what we call it, on saline river under I30? I love that place for 4wheelers!

#20 ·
just a heads up, the Arkansas crawlers is looking to put on a new guy run at superlift, we try to do this at least once a year, this is how I met these people to wheel with.
I will be out of town at work on the February date, but If I was around that weekend I would for sure like to meet up with you all.

the club forum is fairly active I do not have the exact membership numbers, but there are rigs there at every level of buildup. really a good group to hit the trails with, or just get ideas from. lots of jeeps there.

Lol why yes. It is! I LOVE going down there and playing! It's where I learned to drive my jeep! That pic was taken underneath the bridges after you cross the river. Had alot of fun that day! :)

Gimme some info please? I can't do the winch this weekend (relo bracket didn't arrive). May take a drive and check it out.

#26 ·
Ok, it took me some strong google earth skills but I think I found the bridge on I30 you're talking about. Hard to tell from the map, how do you get down there?

Find sunset lake in Benton, it's a little lake with a trailer park around it. I think the road is jackman rd. Take i30 service
Rd To jackman and follow it until
You see dirt road and a big sign with rules. Once you see the sign you are there.
