Check this out!! I went to Jackman and tore it up!! That is where we shod go instead of superlift, free and right down the road. Plenty of obstacles and mud. Only had to winch out one time but that jeep blew my Mind the places it would go!

Great idea!

I vote yes. Less intimidating for us newbies and much closer.

Note to all: bring your lawn chairs and coolers. This could get ugly. LOL

Lol I play there all the time! I love it! As long as the river stays down it will be a great place to go! But if not there won't be much to play with! I have pictures on when the rovers to high there. There's one o when you pull in at first an one of the view from the top of the boat ramp! It gets pretty nasty down there! But it's a lot of fun!!

Looking at this thread I'm counting 7. Over a month to go so it's all good.

I just talked to my buddy. Might be plus three jeeps with me. That would make 10.
If my pops shows that makes 11.

And the only issue with jackman is that it gets boring quick. Ive never been to the orv in hot springs and have been dyin to go! My buddy suggested orv. He says it's a blast! And for those of us that are stock and those of you that have mods there's something for all of us. Either way I'm sure it will be a blast! But I'm voting orv! Pretty pretty please!!! :)

I'm down with either really. I may try to get my FJ buddy to tag along as he's been there alot.

I think we as a group would have more fun at orv as a group. And we can't get in trouble for trespassing there... Jackman is a different story.
Trespassing? Good to know.

Yup those trails wind through the edges of sod farms and pastures. Granted my family knows the owner. But I know he'd hate 15 vehicles tearing stuff up.
How do you tear up a mud/dirt road? LOL

It's sponsored by the city of
Benton. Jackman is open to public as long as you stay away from the posted areas- which aren't many. I figure we will all meet several times, since we are meeting up for our first time i thought jackman would be a quick wheel that's local. Orv will be way better, but its $50 and it's a ways off. Plus I'm coming from Cabot, and with 4.88's I'm slow rollin' down the intestate. ITs up to a vote- I don't care either way.

Good point. Hackman is small but would be a good way to get to know everyone. ORV could be planned for the next meeting. We can always just play it by ear.

Steve and I had to pay $55.00 each for the membership at Super Lift - we'll only pay $15.00 on the 12th should we go, and or for the rest of the year. Otherwise you pay $30.00 each visit. If you plan on going more than three times - the $55.00 is the way to go.
