I may have another Jeep coming? Not sure but it's a good possibility. I've given him the link to the forum so he can check out how cool we are!

Found these at Wally World. Will hit up Radio Hut tomorrow to see what they have.

I'm going to pick up a set ($20.00) to keep in my jeep. My buddies and I use cb's but I want to keep up with what's going on on the trail. If someone has an issue we can let everyone know.

There are a few other slight differences and option. I think the range on these 3 goes from 10 to 20 to 30 miles. Not that you'd that in the mountains. If you zoom in you should be able to read the package options.

Brian did you happen to see if those batteries were internal rechargeable or if you can just pop in regular batteries if those die?

Let us know for sure on the head count and jeep count before Friday. Were working with superlift to get a discount. Should be your choice of either $30 for the one day, or 55 for a year membership with 15 dollars each time u go. (just 55 that day) The 55 is the way to go if you ever plan on going again. Let us know for sure though how many jeeps and people! Welcome!!

Comes w/ 3 AAA rechargeable, but can run non-rechargeable batts as well.

Here's a link to the user's guide for the $20 model:

Welcome Nick . If you have any questions, you can call me direct. You should have my #'s on one of the emails you and I have been swapping.

Also, you can PM Locked (justin) or Barmanvarn (Brian) with the head count as Locked requested above, this will ensure that they get it.

Again, welcome!

I'm it. However, I may splurge for the next set up since they come w/ a recharging dock.

Save your money for cb later on. I'm going to charge these and take a spare set of aaa's on the trail. They will be perfect for what we need. I'm playing with them right now in my jeep in the WM Parkin lot! They are tiny, and clip to the visor perfectly.
Happy bday to me! A $20 set off walkie talkies! Yay
