Looked up bushwhacker flat flares. About $500. Not too bad. May be my next purchase. Sick of these stock flares.

Well my next purchase was chosen by the jeep. Went outside to a small puddle underneath it and saw that the gear box covered in oil!

Whew... Mt. Mag is a long hike bro. Seeing how some of our group have to trailer their rigs, I'm not sure if they'd bite on a trip that far.

I'm not sure what's on my agenda this coming weekend? Due to riding Sunday, my wife may have other plans for me?

Rereading my post, I made it sound like I'm actually IN the competition. LOL

It's the IDPA regionals in Hot Springs....I'm looking to get into it and wanted to see what an actual event is like.

Now I'm gonna have to replace the running board since it'll look a little goofy ( I think) with the flatties. Prob get some ace rails.

That will only result in the need to get lockers (front and rear) which also means you need to regear due to the larger tires you will also need to really put those lockers to good use, but then you have to buy a rear bumper/tire carrier for that larger size spare tire. Then all that extra weight of the bumper and spare tire would cause the rear end to sag so you need to order new springs to get the ride height back up, but now those shocks you have won't work which would require new longer shocks. Due to the Jeep now having an extra 4" of lift you then need a SYE and driveshaft to get rid of the vibes. But that will also require you to get new adjustable control arms. Due to the fact of those larger tires you now feel the need for more horsepower so a V8 swap is next. All of the metioned items will also mean you have to find one of these (and when you do, please share the location with the rest of us).

Awesome on the flares. When will they be here? It may not look goofy with your running boards... lets get um' put on and see?.... but some rails would look sweet
