Yea that one was cool! Landers on university is BY FAR the best Jeep dealership around! Chris Chase is the GM there and a genuine nice guy and a good friend. Then in the service dept Roger Cook is the shop manager and he comes from his family dealership that used to be downtown LR.

If you are a long time Jeep guy in AR, like me, Cook was the go to Jeep place for the BEST help!

I've got Tires for less, Goodsell Truck Accessories, and 4x4 Offroad Outfitters in Nlr set up and agreed to let us use their lots as checkpoints on the poker run. And Landers on University is going to be the end place and going to cook out for us. Just need a couple more places to stop in at and mods you would like to see done, and possible dates!

Suggestions??

I'm baaaaaaack!

Miss me? Anyone? <crickets>

Well, I said I'd be AWOL for the summer as that's my "lake time". But summer is coming to an end and I've probably only got 1 or 2 more weekends to get wet.

Yesterday wasn't lake weather so I hit some back roads and got muddy. Anyone hit the Lake Winona Road between highways 7 and 9? It is freaking awesome up in there. Definatley worthy of a group trip and (I think) a great locale for a camping trip.

So I figured I'd pop in and see what shakin'.
I see that Jen is still having Jeep issues, just with a different Jeep.

I also see that David has an account now. (groovy).

And I see a poker run is being discussed. Count me in for sure.

And grats to Steve on the new ride. I believe a wrenchin' party is in his future.

Me? I just ordered some ACE rock rails to get rid of those damn side steps that are only good for holding mud. UGH. I'm drooling for bigger tires and another list, but can't pull the trigger on that just yet.

Depending on rain, I could do Saturday. Probably would be around 10:00 before I could head out though.

My dad called this morning and was asking about the trip I took to lake Winona last weekend.

Long story short we're heading that way today and I'll be scouting for some good campsites.

If anyone is in the area today gimme a shout.

If your wanting some good campsites with facilities then run up to lake Sylvia. Its just a few mins up the road. Keep going west on hwy 10 from hwy 9 toward Perryville then turn on hwy 324. Where 324 ends at the lake a dirt road starts and connects to all those roads in the Winona area. I take the pop up out there. They have water, electric, and bathrooms with a shower. The lake has a concrete pier that goes out and you can jump off of. Its a great place that is quiet. No cell coverage either if you want to get away from the phone.

Facilities? Heck no. I prefer to camp out in the middle of nowhere.

I found some good clearings that would hold about 20 of us if needed. Secluded and miles from anyone or anything.
