The trails down there are always fun to go on, I went down there a week ago. Let me know if you need directions.

New to the whole trail riding. Is there any out there that a standard TJ can handle or should I do a few things before I attempt a trail ride?

I suggest getting some Tow hooks on the front of your Jeep, I got mine at the Tractor Supply store, 10,000lb hooks $12 a piece comes with the bolts, and bolted right into the top bumper attach points. (they only had the chrome ones, so I painted them black). and a tow strap.

Going with a buddy is a good idea, but that being said- I go alone alot of the time 'cause I can't find anyone to go when I'm 'Jones'n for a trail fix'

My jeep is stock, besides the wheels/tires and 2.25" spacer lift. The places that I go are a great places to see what your jeep will do, with your stock 4 wheel drive system.
