I would love to go but my Jeep is broken and I have to go out of state next week to start working maybe this fall when I get back and git it fix we can get together and go.
Did Horn Mountain and Rebecca Mountain ridge trail yesterday just East of Sylacauga. You can ride all the way to Cheaha if you don't mind the ab work and ruts. Takes about 2 hours the whole way and can do with street tires and the Alabama map book. If you time the trip it right you can have the $8.50 lunch buffet at the Cheaha State Park lodge around noon.
I've been considering the Horn and Rebecca Mountain trips from East Sylacauga to Chehea. Any problems with a novice driver running a completely stock JKU through this route? Also can you pick up the map book at any local bookstore? thanks
