For those in Gadsden, what do you think of Mountainside ORV? Any good?
I'm up in Huntsville, but haven't had the chance to try Hale Mountain yet. Opinions? With school in the way (along with work), I just haven't had the time. Now that I've finished my MBA, I should have more time to pursue my offroading interests.
Are there any good jeep/off road clubs in the Birmingham area? I have tried contacting CHAOS with no luck. I am really interested in meeting some jeep folks, learning more and having some fun.
Grey Rock ORV is a fun place to go in Gardendale. I lived in B'ham for about 4 years and went a few times and had fun. CHAOS is kinda finicky as least they were then. I kinda felt you had to know someone in the club to get involved but they may have changed. If you feel like traveling a bit there are some cool off road clubs within 2-3 hour driving time. Hawk Pride ORV is in Tuscumbia and its a really nice park. MudBoggers ORV is in Fulton MS and it's good if you like swampy stuff. and Wheeling in the Country in Summertown TN is a fun place to go. It has something for everyone. That's all of the parks i have been too. Hope this helps.
