Guess where this is

Clues;

It's in north Alabama.

You can see Vulcan (with good binoculars) from where the first picture was taken, but it's in the other direction from the photo's perspective.

You can Jeep there. We did!

Is this on the side of I65 where it has signs that says state property no trespassing?

No, and I never saw a single sign anywhere. I don't go past "No Trespassing" signs.

I went back yesterday. Spent about 4 hours out there, but we didn't get many good pics this time. After about 9 total hours in this spot I think we've actually seen about half of it.

Took this one coming out of a side trail.

I was going to say it's at Hale ORV, but I've never seen those water features around. (And Hale's "roads" don't have that much growth over 'em)

Is it that other mountain park east of Madison County lake? (I forget the name, but I hear mudders back in the swampy part, and as far I as know you can ride the fire roads in there)

Anyone know where this area is located? Looks like a close place for us jeepers in/around the Birmingham area.

sure does look like a pulloff from 65 on the side roads that run all along it.
