Grasskicker said on 19 April there is an Easter ride going on Coalmine Mountain in New Market, always a ton of people up there. Anything you want to get into is there, mud, rock climb at the powerlines.

Exactly how do you get to the starting road? - such as a GPS location or Google Map link. This is a link to where I go up Putman Mt, which can go to Coalmine Mtn. https://www.google.com/maps/place/87...3e69f674?hl=en

Easter ride is a drunk fest, stay far away. These people leave a bad taste to the locals. Police will be there.

This is in all the local forums. The land owners are just fed up with the trash, police are tired of the drunks, injuries and the death of a child last year. Yea, they are damn serious.

Only thing I have not checked is DS balance.

Thanks,

Hey Mel,
I'm in Madison as well. Were you able to find a fix for your vibe? I had that issue a while back; although, my trans mount was new, it had to be readjusted twice before my vibe quit. My vibe was bad, I had serious grinding too. RCOR, was the only shop I could find to fix it for me. All other shops gave me the run around. Are there other shops you have learned of around here?

I was just reading a thread on here about the importance of changing out the stock bolts to prevent or cure the "death wobble"...that could be the vibe you are experiencing. http://www.wranglerforum.com/f274/th...ts-128154.html

Hey guys, is there any upcoming wheeling dates in the Huntsville area? I just bought a Jeep after 5 years without one and would like to get out there but have no idea where to go.

Options include:
Hale Mountain out east of town (never been there).
Wheelin' in the Country (S. TN)
Wooly's Offroad (S. TN)
Stony Lonesome OHV (Cullman)

I've been to the last three and Stony Lonesome has really grown over the last few years. It can be challenging when wet. I'm not a go crazy kind of offroader, so SLOHV works great for me.

It's also the home to a Jeep Jamboree in October/November.

Have you tried removing each of the driveshafts (in turn) to see if they cause the vibe? If you remove the front and drive with no vibes, get the front balanced. Same with the back. If the vibe remains, it isn't the driveshafts, but possibly in the tires/wheels.
