Soooo the weather is supposed to be turning into spring temps very soon, what about a north AL get together? I'd like to put some names to faces, and bein a Jeep newb I know I could learn a lot from many people on here at a get together. Not to mention new friends, who could turn that down?
Would any of you local folks around the Madison area be able to help me diagnose some odd front end noise? I can't really explain it but I'd love for someone with more expertise than I to hear it...
Whats everyone up to? Any updates, new mods, runs, or anything else going on? I'm getting spring fever pretty bad, and really would like it to warm up so I can start mountain biking and playing topless in the Jeep.
How do you like the disconnects? I did the homemade ones last week and they seem to do the job for now, plus I'm cheap! Also replaced the factory shocks with some Zone shocks, 200x's better.
I heard about this from a guy at work, but haven't heard if its going on this year or not. I would love to go, but wouldn't be able to make it out Saturday, just Sunday-does it even go through Sunday?
The JKS are real nice. I re-adjusted them last night because I had them off by a quarter inch. One side was just longer than the other. I installed them on not level ground the first time.
New to the forums and just got a new jeep, 2013 JK. I'm in East Limestone near Madison. I'm a complete newbie when it comes to off-roading, I had a jeep before but pretty much just played in the snow with it where I used to live.
Welcome to the club! I'm pretty new to Jeeps myself. I'm in Meridianville just north of Huntsville. I have a JKU sport. I am amazed at what this thing will do stock. I started hanging out with the Rocket City Rock Crawlers here locally. They meet the first Thursday night of the month at Newks on university drive. They do one easy and one hard ride a month. If you don't know anyone else to Jeep with like me it may be a place to start.

Well I'm in. I guess I'll try and start a thread for it and see what kind of response we get. So including me that makes 3 of us, who else would be interested?
My only setback is I work Saturdays, so unless its a Sunday drive I'm out until after 6.
I'm good for anytime. Just post the where, and when.
