If you run a club, are in a club or are looking to join a club in the southeast check out Southeast Off-Road Enthusiasts (SORE). Newly formed it is a place for off-road enthusiasts to talk about their area trails, find new trails, discuss their rigs, sell or swap parts and coordinate rides between clubs all over the area. No matter if people ride Jeeps, Broncos, ATVs, etc... SORE is open to any off-roaders.

It doesn't replace your current club as it isn't an actual "club". Instead it was formed by members of clubs in the area to help get people more active in the southeast (FL, AL, MS, GA and TN). To list your club simply join SORE and add it or PM me on here I can add it for you. Have an upcoming event?? Share that too so we start getting more people on rides!

See you on the trails soon!

Right now Boggs, places around Ft Rucker and Dothan areas, and the panhandle. One of the clubs currently has a trip to Albany, GA planned and another club has one to Choccolocco Mountain. There are also talks about Stony Lonesome and Great American. Since we aren't a club and we aren't vehicle specific we try to work with all the various clubs to post rides so people can attend any ride they are able to.

So that is kind of the point... to get the clubs out there talking and discussing where to ride, find new places and get attendance up. Not have Jeeps go somewhere one week and Broncos the next. But, right now SORE hasn't even been up a week so we are working on getting as many SE area clubs involved as are willing but the more we have the better it will be.

If you can send me the C.A.O.S. info, just respond here or PM, I can post it in our "Join A Local Club!" section to point anyone local to you guys, who sees SOAR, in your direction. Right now we just list the below info but we are thinking about adding an "about" section later.

Agreed! I actually only joined Facebook in late 2012 just to join my local Jeep club. Never had it before that. But starting something like this off is a lot easier on there.

Free - Shoot me the details or add them on SORE (http://www.facebook.com/groups/SORE4). As we work to get people involved having more groups and people posting trips will help.
