This will not change. It is to save the continuity of the forum by helping prevent users from going back to change post in an ill manner. Yes it happens and often if editing is left unlimited. Editing is open to a users post for 30 minutes after posting. This is more than enough time to edit if needed. Everyone is accountable for their post. If you need to go back and edit after the 30 mic time limit, all you need is to ask a staff member and they will open it up for edit. AND they will close it again when the edit has been done.

This has nothing to do with the recent change. The limit has been in place since the forum began.

New or old, the WF has the best, most accessible information by a community on the net. There are others out there, but none as user friendly as here... I applaud the admin for making the changes AND listening to the users for their opinions. Great forum and I WILL be contributing to the financial requirements of the site on payday.

I have an idea that I would like to be considered by the admin/mods/site staff..

It pertains to the classified section...
Is there any way to clean/organize a little better ?

In a similar way you organized the forums, IE JK/TJ/YJ etc..Could you organize the classifieds similar to that ? If all the TJ posters were together in one section, I wouldnt have to look thru 200 JK parts for sale to find a TJ part.

Just a thought...

Nick

Nick,

Thanks for the idea.. it is something we can look into...most likely we would have a model drop down tab.. would not cover current ads but might help for future.. would also have to have a genl tab.. for things like tires or winch etc.. that might work on various models or mixed parts..etc..
