So here is my Submission. One of the pics was from my last deployment to afghanistan and the pic was taken a few hours before delivering a nightmare! The other was on a local training line here in the states. Enjoy and Thanks for the support and service of my other Brothers and Sister that wear or have wore the Uniform! God Bless!

US Navy retired submariner, after 26 years. Here's a few pics:

Onboard USS ATLANTA (SSN 712) at the end of her final deployment. My division- I'm at the top of the pic.

RTC Orlando, 1989- one of my recruit company graduations. I am second from the left, next to a superb LT.

Electrical Division, USS NARWHAL (SSN 671) bringing on shore power, Toulon France July 1994. I'm taking this picture- this is what was most important to me while in- my sailors. They were awesome and I miss the camaraderie to this day.

USS MARYLAND (SSBN 738) surfaced, watching a launch of the Space Shuttle in 2001. Not everyone gets this view of a shuttle launch- my job was tough, demanding, important, and sometimes, a hell of a lot of fun.

EDIT: I almost forgot. I would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to every Sailor, Soldier, Airman, Marine, and Coast Guardsman (and woman) who strapped it on and served. I was constantly in awe of the strength, character, determination and integrity of all I served with and all I have encountered since hanging up my anchors. Hand Salute!

I have played a couple different roles in the Navy. I started out as an Aviation Electronics Tech and now I am a Gunner's Mate. I took 8 years of leave in between.

US Navy 2011-Present

First Post in forum I've come to enjoy reading (and a major contributor to me working on ordering a new CG JKR when I get back from deployment). And by the way, I am on duty in these pictures, conning the ship...it just so happened the ship was celebrating Halloween that day. Enjoy .

I'm in the middle. We took a trip to The "Top of the Rock" Rockwfeller Center in NYC for a reenlistment ceremony for the guy on the far right.

Here is me reenlisting for 6 years in a blackhawk over Washington DC.

(this one isn't for the competition but just to show an example of what I saw on the flight, yes that's the pentagon)

And last is one of me while in Afghanistan

It was hard picking only 3 photos.

I have been layed out due to being hit by a semi tractor trailer in my JKU earlier this week. So I didn't have a chance to post some pics. Probably too late, but here are some of me.
