I'm kind of proud of my Sarge, so here goes:

  • Year: 2007
  • Model: JK Unlimited X
  • Engine: 3.8L V6
  • Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
  • T-case: Standard
  • Suspension: 2.5" lift
  • Front Axle: Dana 30 with JKS swaybar dsconnects
  • Rear Axle: Dana 44 with 4:10 gears
  • Tire Size: ProComp Xtreme A/T 305/65R-17
  • Rim Size: ProComp 17"
  • Best Mod: DieTech Mrror Relocation Brackets
  • Worst Mod: Don't really have one but the jury is still out on my Bestp rear bumper and tire carrier.
  • I tried to get as authentic as possible on the WWII markings (down to the tire pressure markings inside the wheel wells). It is done up as a radio Jeep assigned to the 7th Troop Carrier Squadron of the 62nd Troop Carier Wing, 12th Air Force, US Army Air Corps, circa 1941

Black Betty

Year: 2012
Model: Rubicon
Engine: Pentastar with AFE stage 2 pro guard 7 Cold air intake
Transmission: 6 speed
T-case: Stock 4/1

Suspension: 1st ever Rock Krawler 2.5 X-Factor - First ever installation of this lift outside RK's Prototype. Also the 2.0 RRD Remote Reservoir shocks also brand new to the market at the time of the install.

Front Axle: Dana 44 soon to be outfitted with Artec Axle Armor Kit 9/16
Rear Axle: Stock with Rock Krawler Rear trackbar relocation bracket
Tire Size: DuraTrac 315/75R17
Rim Size: 17
Best Mod: Custom upside down Engo winch in stock bumper. We had to cut and chop everything to make it work, but it does look factory. And the Engo is a great winch. The whole setup cost less than 400 bucks.
Worst Mod: Research is my day job, and i obsess over every mod. love them all.

Other information about your Jeep you want to share:

I caught the fever in January and have absolutly lost control. You guys have seen my intake and exhaust dyno testing, The Rock Krawler 2.5 X-Factor installation thread and development of the axle cam. Lots more, but those are the big ones. Im a jeeper to the core now. Its to the point were Im taking welding classes.

2 pics is a tough limit. Here are some from today in Rausch Creek. It was raining, I normally would have had the roof off with the safari straps out.

Just curious, what didn't you like about the rear tire carrier? I put a Bestop on mine, but mine is a TJ. It feels pretty solid, but it definitely took some work to put together.
