Jeepies Ft Collins

Folks, I'm hitting the social media marketing to prevent further damage from this business. Jeepies was of Nashville Tennessee until a month ago. I was hired as the only mechanic to "help get service going right", and while the little fuzziness on the back of my neck said no, I jumped at the chance to build a brand. I'm not a newbie, I have 20 years in as a Chrysler/Jeep certified tech. Anyway, after working there, and the owner actually listening to me, things turned bad. The jeeps that started rolling in were terrible. Leaks, bad transmissions, bad gears etc..
The owners answer was to paint it, detail it, and hang big mud tires to mask noise. He would take long vacations, to which I would repair vehicles that had been sold, correctly then get yelled at for doing so. The day he shut down, he claimed to not have any money. That all the inventory was to be sold. I new that was wrong, just took some time to figure out what he had done. His name is Scott Tinius, the place is called Jeepies fort collins. Share this with as many people as you can and protect them from making mistakes. Oh, by the way, the good reviews he has are from his friends who never actually purchased a vehicle from him. As for me, I'm still repairing any of his vehicles for free. He left a lot of people hanging.

Fogman is on a distinguished road
I appreciate the info. I bought a 2005 LJ from Jeepies in May. It's not a daily driver, and while I haven't had any major issues with it yet, I did get the feeling that some things may have been covered up. Do you remember anything about this one?

Unfortunately people use social media to try and damage others when they are unhappy with their own situations. It seems that some individuals have all the time in the world to make negative comments, but never have time to post positive ones. Social media does give the bad apples an avenue to try to persuade the public opinion. This seems to be the pattern I have noticed with the auto industry over the years. As a business owner, and you have probably noticed in your life, it is impossible to make everyone happy. I cannot let MICHAEL MANFREDO or others FALSE statements try to corrupt my company in any fashion. Jeepies LLC has hundreds upon hundreds of happy customers. I have years of hard work in building a reputable name for Jeepies LLC and I intend to keep it that way! This person cost me a lot of time, money and EMBARRASSMENT with my business. He is in no way part of Jeepies LLC name.

If you feel the need to hear the real story,you are welcome to call me at anytime to get the details.

Jeepies LLC is a used jeep and 4x4 vehicle store. Our inventory is used, not new. USED is just what it means, they are not new vehicles and will need to be maintained by the new owner. Jeepies LLC does not, nor will ever intentionally sell an unsafe vehicle.

Jeepies LLC is now operated out of our Ft.Collins Colorado store. I did close the Nashville store for no other reason than wanting to be closer to family.

This is the response I expected. Blame someone else for his faults. Yes, he sells used jeeps, that is not in conflict with anything I said. But since he brought it up,
#1- He never mentioned "moving" for family. In fact, the day we found out about it, he said he was broke, and couldn't afford to pay his employees. He said he was going out of business.
#2- Yes I cost him money, by repairing vehicles he sold, that should have been fixed in the first place. His reasoning was let's see if it will sell, and if the customer will notice.
#3- I have 20 plus years of exceptional service, to say I embarrassed him would be false. His embarrassment may come from the time he hid in the garage so he wouldn't have to deal with customers. Plenty of times he had myself or his salesman make excuses after excuse for him. Embarrassed? He was his own.
I'm not into tit for tat, so believe what you will. He'll weave a long tale for you.
