ok...just wondering. i rooted my original droid within days of getting it. i retired that phone and got the droid 2 global and that one was a bit more difficult to root but i got it done!

the trick to rooting is to be patient! let the techheads out there figure out how to root the device. it'll get done but it'll be a complex process. then someone will refine the process and basically make it so that you download an .apk, put it on the microsd card, use your file explorer to find it, then you click it, it runs, it asks you if you'd like to root your device, you click on yes and VIOLA!!!! it's rooted

It's pretty easy. Run it, hide it, shake. Works for me because I'm scared of rooting my Evo

not sure if this is the place to ask about trouble shooting on the app, but has anyone else been getting the "this application has just crashed, but a report has been sent to the developers to fix, blah blah blah..." error when trying to add an attachment to a tread via camera? I can take a pic, then have it saved, then add from gallery, but every time i try adding with the camera, it crashes. I then have to kill the app to get it to work right after that.

Any one else?

I noticed this before. I'm sure they are working on an update for this bug. Until then I just save it and then upload.

It's too bad they don't have a mobile version for Blackberries. The Wireless forum I belong to has the same web version as the Wranglerforum, but there is an option for a mobile skin, to make browsing a bit easier.

So is it safe to assume the Wranglerforum app is not available for Blackberries?

I don't have the .apk but I'm just curious as to why your tablet doesn't have the market. What kind is it?

Are you running Cyanogen Mod? If so I have seen one of their installer that you can flash over that gives you what they call GApps which is all the Google apps such as Maps, Navigation, Market, etc. However I don't know much about the nook and have only recently rooted my Evo so what do I know lol.

No Cyanogen mod. There is an installer for GApps however I am having trouble getting it to communicate with my device when trying to load it. Just figured if I could find the apk package it would be easier to install.

I believe you can do it by backing up your phone, then plucking the apk out of the backup. Not really sure. I'll do some research, but that would be awesome if you could!
