Create a room and put a password on it (hit the ADD button)
If you want your room to be visible make it a public room
If you want it not to be visible make it private but you can only invite people in that way.
Or send a private message

Couple things we have learned from having a chat room on my clubs site. Having a little box on the main page so you can see who is currently in chat is a great idea. Also when it gets busy another nice feature is to be able to change the color of your post in chat. THANK YOU for adding the chat I look forward to some great conversations in there

I know I'm a little late on this, to be honest I never read anything but the tech and off topic. So I'm in the chat room but nobody else is???? or maybe I'm just not special enough???

No, the flash chat is no longer enabled. Lack of interest.

Guys, this thread is from 2008. We tried the flash chat, there was very little interest and it was removed.

Tiny is right. There were really only a handful of people that regularly used the Flash Chat. So when we upgraded to the newest version of vB we cut it off.
