Are you looking for power lines or like some place legal like Durhamtown Plantation?

Sure you can! You would be surprised at what a stock Jeep can do. You will be fine. Just be ready to wash it afterwards if you go to D-town. Try Beasley Knob as well in Blairsville. Wherever you go make sure to ride with another individual or group. That way you can have someone spot for you or help if needed. Don't forget to have fun.

Durhamtown Plantation for sure if you like mud. Do not go alone unless you have a winch and/or prepared to do a self recovery. Personally I prefer Beasley Knob. Have fun!

It's about a 2 and a half hour drive for me. I'm

Is there a cost? What is the place? Is it an off roading park or does it have another primary purpose?

It's 40 Bucks for whole day and 20 for after 2pm. But what they don't tell you on DermTowns website is the 4x4 tracks are open 24/7 pretty much aslong as you hve paid for that day. But no it has other activities. Like hunting, shooting ranges, fishing, atv/UTV trail and track riding along with MX track riding. Just a whole bunch of fun

I took my 2nd gen tacoma trd offroad with the rear locker to DTown and did just fine. Stock height with duratracs. There was only a few spots I decided I shouldn't hit.

I'm in Alpharetta. Always looking. I've tried to go to Beasley Knob several times but always closed. Dawson Forest has a great creek to cross. That was closed on Saturday from all the rain.

Stockers to Lockers has a Meet and Greet every 3rd Wednesday in Norcross at 6:00 PM. Turnout varies, ussually a fair amount of Jeeps. Can't miss it, look for a bunch of Jeeps parked in the grass on 141.

I'm in The Creek too. You wanting to share or keep it to yourself? I get it if the latter -- no problem.

Oooo sorry I have been out of it for the past few days. This place is at the Kroger (well behind it) on jones bridge and Douglas road. From jones bridge turn on to Douglas road. And less than 1/4 a mile you will two drive ways going up hill on the left. Take the second one these driveways are right across the street from a little shopping strip. DO NOT TAKE THE FRIST ONE VISIBILITY IS ZERO WHEN EXITING!!! Ask me if any Q's. Best to go after rain. If you don't have a which or buddy stay out of the first big mud pit. Have fun!!!

Ha! That's on my commute home! I enter Douglas at the traffic circle and come up the hill to Jones Br every day. I'll check it out next week. And yes, I have a winch and all the recovery gear for a solo extraction. Thanks for the tip.

No problem it's not very a very big area. You pretty much will end up running laps. I head about another place near Atlantic Sea Food and will get details for that ASAP!

I've been to the place by Atlantic Seafood. Flat dirt trails but a big mud pit. Proceed with caution. Haven't seen trouble but heat of some bad time in the pit.

Easy on the private property wheeling. You should have permission from the owner. These places really don't sound legal. You will tire of them quickly anyway.

Another chiming in from Alpharetta......I'm game for a trail run to just about anywhere. Especially after I slap on my RK 2.5 this week.
