Thanks for Wei'ing in . Hey, have you decided on tires? I know the size but which type? Inquiring minds need to know.

That's this Saturday night, but I was told that it is usually in there along with ALOT of hiney shaking. I am going to have to carry the binoculars.

WAH Wah...

Right now my top choice is the Toyo Open Country 37/1350R17 for the stance. It's a heavy tire though... not sure if I want to break an axle or my back if I need to change the tire.

If I decide to go with a 12.50 wide one, there are a few more options.

I can't make it this weekend. It looks like it will be a mess anyway with the rain.

Damn that's a big tire! Is there a planned shop day for the lift?

Looking at the MetalCloak 3.5 Game Changer Lite which I hope will be high enough. It'll be bump stopped but I may throw the Teraflex leveling kit on top of that to get it higher if needed.

No shop day planned yet until the parts come in - but it'll probably be near Macon when it happens.

Good laws. Do you have to do the drive shaft going that high like on the 2dr?

I see what you did there..

Being he's not changing the suspension that much just tires and fenders he should have no problems. Usually don't worry about it unless you go over 2".

I'm out for next weekend (16-17). My daughter's birthday is the 17th and she is doing her party and sleepover that Saturday night. No way for me to get out.

Have fun stompin' through the mud boys.

That's my bad. I just saw metal cloak and assumed fenders. I had to do BL and MML and tv drop with my 4" lift.

No, you're right. It is a 3.5" lift. (Maybe 4" with stock bumpers.)

Yeah, I think I do; at least the front one. It's less of an issue with 4 door Jeeps but I think I might have to anyway. I saw that Krawl-Offroad just came out with a new one. May give that a shot over Tom Woods... not sure yet.

Yeah... I have that same fear. I know it won't fit with a CB antenna but I hope it'll still fit w/o one.

This may sound bad but one of the reasons I didn't go crazy on mine is the parking deck at work.

Haha. Nah... doesn't sound bad. I totally understand. This planned setup better not interfere with my mall crawling.

I found a guy on here with the same set up I was looking at. He measured his Jeep height for me and I determined that wouldn't work.

Either 3.5 or 2.5 up on 35's. I had a little clearance on my garage but work was really iffy. All the issues with 3.5 on the 2 door just made it not worth it imo.

2.5 and 35's would look good. Your Jeep has a good stance with 33s too. Maybe I should get spacers to push out the stock wheels out a bit more for the time being - see how they run without big tires.

I wanted more of the box look. Idk how stocks would look with spacers. Put a request up on the photo thread and see what you get.

37s would be awesome though.

Just found out from the future DIL that my son may be there next week. So, they may come too. Also, future DIL says her mom grew up in that area and that she knows of some fun trails on Black Mtn
