I'm in if something definite materializes. Just tell me where and when. I'm not hard core enough to do GPS coordinates yet.

We can meet at the intersection of 17 (Toccoa Hwy) and 441. Theres a gas station there. Is that good for everybody?

Cool. In this case, the GPS coords actually helped. I was totally looking at the wrong intersection.

Jebus Christ! All this talk about a ride, and Mark not making a peep I thought the ride was today. At first I thought I was super late to the meet, then realized I was a week early! Oh well. I ended up exploring Mountain Road which was semi lame... but afterwards I was invited over to Union Grove by another friend, which is only 30 minutes from Midtown. Holy Power Lines! This is almost a full fledged ORV park. We should definitely check this out at some point.

I took a couple of pics of the new bumper. Luckily I didn't bump into anything.

At least you got to ride. That place looks great.

10:08 incoming text.... Am I late or early?

10:12 incoming text.... Oops. Looks like I'm here a week early. Sigh.

10:23 outgoing text.... OMG, lol.

Hahaha

Oh, so it's my fault you can't keep your dates straight....OK. Well glad you still got to do a little riding. Jeep is looking good with the side rails and the bumper. Even though it rained through Friday early afternoon MM was in pretty good shape. Hit some crazy stuff and learned more about the capability of these vehicles. I don't have many pictures, but here is one.

Was winching a guy in front of me back up out of hole and had this going on behind me. Good times.

Did you guys go through pretty much the same part of the park or did you explore new areas?

Mostly the same areas, but some different trails/routes. I got to know the park a little better but still get turned around in there. There were at least 3 JKU's on 37's, wish you could have been there to check them out. I believe most were running 3.5" Rock Krawler kits, one was running a 4.5" Rubicon Express Long Arm kit with G2 axles.

Oh yeah? I'll check the GATR website to see if any are posted. Somebody's been posting stuff on Facebook (SBC Offroad I think), but no JKU's ever show up in the pics.

So I checked out some of the pictures of the JKU's and they look pretty good. I didn't think I saw any 37s though... then it hit me, MAYBE I now think 37s look like 35s and are too small. Noooooooooo!

37's are not too small, nor do they look small, to me anyway . More pictures are popping up.

Hopefully I can still make it this weekend, that's the plan. Full weekend away this past weekend and another full weekend away March 1. I hate leaving mud on my Jeep but I didn't wash it when I got home Sunday or after work today. May just leave it dirty until this weekend and wash it once.

If Wei offers you Kool Aid this Sunday, don't drink it!!!!!!!! If you do you will be shopping for 40's!
