Where are you located and what purpose does the club serve?

Id recommend joining a state-wide pre-existing club (that's what I did). But if you want to start a club, you could always just name it something basic, like the Cumming Off-road Club. Or think of something cooler

I am also in Cumming and belong to two, neither necessarily local.

Warner Robins Jeep Club - Great group, obviously not local.

Georgia Trail Riders - Another great group of people. Quite a few from Cumming, Canton area.

Most of the rides I do are out of State Off Road Parks so proximity of the club is not as important except for local Meet and Greets and such. There are also multiple Facebook Groups for Jeepers.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for.

Back in the 80's my brother and his friends started a local Jeep Club called the Mud Daubers. They made a logo of a wasp with big mud tires for legs. Was pretty cool on the back of a shirt.

I hate mud now, avoid it all cost. Free bump I guess.
