Gas stations are few the closer you get to the forest.
canton or just north of there may be your last chance.

Wouldn't there be gas stations near the Waffle house? Assuming most will be coming up 400 to 53.

Yea its about 120 miles from my garage door to the meeting point. I havent confirmed whether or not Ill go yet. I still may tho. I would have to leave at 730am to get there. We shall see. On a side note...have any of you guys ever rode Durhamtown? I have been on a 4 wheeler about 8-9 years ago but never in a Jeep. I know its pay but some of the videos on Youtube look pretty decent.

I'll have to look at the route. If you go Burnt mtn, i think that's 136, there's gas in Jasper.

Ok, I looked at the route there from the Canton area. 136 is a scenic road that will take you up and over. There is a Citgo station right next to Chattahoochee Tech. I think that's the last station.

If you look at the map it looks like there's one to the right at the end of 136. Last time I rode the bike up there it was closed.

Turn left at the end of 136 then a right and that will be 52.

Just a reminder, this is a very tame forest service road. Don't expect a challenge. Just a nice drive with new friends.

Matt and Rodney,
I'll see you at the WaHo. All are welcome though.

Understood. I told my daughter she may not even need to use 4wd. We are just glad to get out with some other jeepers. See you at the meet point.

Ditto here too. I'm done for this year, but am looking forward to next year. Beasley Knob, Gulches, more service roads. I enjoyed like minded folks with daily drivers.

Austin and I had a great time. Let us know and we'll try to make the trip for the next outing. Beasley Knob sounds like a blast. Good to meet you all.
