Looking for ride partners the next month or so.

I'm in Cumming and would like to find a ride partner in the area. I like Nimblewill and Beasley Knob. Sundays are best, but may be able to do some Saturdays. I'm open to other rides too as long as they're legal.

I'm in Cumming as well and may be able to make a Sunday ride. Just not in to much mud. Been there done that in my younger years. My daughter has a TJ too and may go if it's nothing too extreme for her daily driver. New to GA and not familiar with the places you mention. Nimblewill sounds interesting. How long is that trail/road?

The full trail takes about 4 hrs. I've been in Arizona for a week and haven't checked the weather for rain. No matter, Nimblewill is drivable even in the rain.

I'm good for next week. Nimblewill Gap is an easy ride. It starts off of 52 just outside of Dawsonville and ends at the top of Amicalola Falls. Just a nice Sunday ride for our daily drivers

How far from Douglasville are you all going to be? I might be able to make a ride next Sunday. It's my daily driver, so nothing too extreme though.

Douglasville as in West of Atlanta? That looks to be about 90 miles. The ride should be pretty tame and you are definitely welcome to join us.

Was just looking at the weather. 30% chance of rain on Sunday. Lets hope it holds off. I'm really looking forward to riding with other dailies without the need of joining a club.

Cool, about an hour and a half from me each way, that's do-able. Let me know time and place to meet up and I'll do my best to get up there Sunday.

Would you guys mind if I tag along? I am in the same boat. My Jeep is bone stock all the way down to the Wrangler STs I just want to hook up and ride some decent trails without the risk of sinking, sticking or breaking my Jeep......well sticking I can deal with as long as someone can snatch me out. Ha! I still have to OK it with the wifey but it would be nice to know that you guys wouldnt mind an extra Jeeper! Im coming from McDonough, btw.

Damn Geoff, that's a haul. The more the merrier. My wife is happy I've found someone to ride with. She enjoys the rides, but only for short periods.

Don't forget lunch guys. You guys from the west side will need some time. How about meeting at the trail head around 10:00?

Nimblewill Church Road goes North off of 52 and dead ends at a 3 way stop. Nimblewill Gap goes left there. We can meet at that intersection. There's an area to pull off there.

Sounds good. I'm one of those late to bed, early to rise types, so if the consensus is for an earlier start, I'm okay with it.

If the plan is to ride this sun 12/2, I would like to join too. I'm in Smyrna, and have a mostly stock DD too.

That's the plan. Need Trailsnail to verify this, but the lat/lon for the meeting point should be 34.563329, -84.140331.

I'm a probably for this ride as well, rain or shine unless something comes up. I live in Oakwood, so this is a short ride for me to the meeting place. I've got a recovery strap and a winch, just in case I get myself in a bit of a pickle.

Anyone up for breakfast at a Waffle House beforehand?

Only WaHo I know of in that area is at the 53/400 intersection. That's probably 20 minutes away from the meet point, but easy enough for most people to find.

I could be there as early as 8:00 with no problems. I'm normally out of the fartsack by 6:00.

Yep, this Sunday 12/2/2102.

I should be in with 2 Jeeps. See you all at 10:00.

As far as breakfast, we will be on a tight time schedule so probably not be able to make it.

Mapquest says 30 minutes from WaHo to meeting point. How about 8:30? I need my beauty sleep.

8:30 should be good for me. Enough time to shove a few groceries down my neck.

I'll PM my info to you

I'll have to pass on Waffle House. See y'all at the meeting point at 10:00. Any gas stations near the meeting spot, I'll need a fill up before we hit the trails.
