I think its for them only! Id like to know if it legal to wheel here. I was told back in 2004 it was closed to 4x4s. Don't want to dive from Newnan and not get to trail ride.

We only ride in legal places. Snail was out there a few weeks ago and saw rangers patrolling, if I'm correct.

You're correct. He sat and watched, grin on his face, as I entered the big hole.

That would be nice to know, also any info about the trail? Deep mud scares me.. I have a manual and don't want to screw up the clutch

I always pack a bag of tools, flashlight, tow strap, a couple of sleeping bags and water. Just stuff I throw in. A shovel may be good.
I don't think this a a really remote area though.

the area is not too remote but the mud holes are BIG! some...well..... most of them have by-pas trails, but some of those have pretty giant holes too. there's usually bypasses for bypasses. i was out there alone (2.5 33;s) and there was plenty of stuff i didn't want to try without someone else there.if had known you guys were going i would probably be in. going to mt yohna for some climbing.( jeeps to slow to make both stops haha) good luck and have fun! take plenty of pictures!!

As jkdreams can attest, the deep hole early on is bad. I'm on 35s with a 6" lift and I had an inch of water in the cab. There is a way around on either side though. All other holes are passable

I prefer a ham sandwich, slightly toasted with swiss cheese on rye with a hint of pepper and jalapeño. Lol.

Hey I am headed up to meet up with you guys but I'll probably be maybe 10 minutes late. I'm in a red 2012 sport coming from McDonough. As of 10:30 AM I'm coming up 75 just about to pass 285 in Marietta.
