"Lower sweetwater" tomorow.

I'm going out to sweetwater tomorow if anyone wants to tag along feel free to reply on thread or PM me. Taking one of my moms freinds out there. She wrecked her jeep an is really depressed about it.

If you don't have an idea where it's at... It's in the cartersville / canton area off of highway 20 on a Woodall road

A little late on this one, but I am (somewhat) familiar with this area of Canton. Don't know Woodall. Is there another cross street you can reference.

It's off of 20. Sweetwater runs parallel between 20 and the lake

Pretty sure it's called "lower sweetwater trail" on google maps. Not 100% sure tho. I went out there last summer. Some pretty huge mud holes! You guys have fun

He said a few local boys got him out. I guess I'm going to put on my winch sooner than later.

I have played at Sweetwater for about 10 years in Jeeps or ATV's there are some holes if you go in you won't come out I promise. Best bet is to stay off those trails to summer when it dries up

Yeah, yeah. Out ok. Local boy with a tiny Toyota beater and tires ad big as the truck pulled us out. Still learning my capabilities (and how to judge a mid hole . You should have seen the one we did make it through. I had the girl at a 45!

Yep guys, I was really stuck. I am sure I need to hook up before I hit the unknown trails again, but......,.it was fun. It only took a couple of hours to find someone and get out completely. The local boys said that there are some GREAT trails if you know what to avoid. Anyone in that area can PM me and we'll swap contact info. The forum can have a delayed effect for those that aren't on all the times. Hopefully these pix show here. You should have seen what I DID make it through. Had the Jeep at a 45!!!!!

Haha. Awesome pics. I'd definitely invest in a winch if you like mud. I usually keep one wheel off to the side whenever possible.

Did you bottom out? I bottomed out yesterday, the monotony sets in after the first hour of waiting for a buddy lol a winch is a good idea but if you don't feel like dropping 500 bucks a farm jack and a couple of tow straps/chains should do the trick, or at least for my yj... Idk about a 4 door JK the farm jack is 3.5 tons and only 50-70 bucks

Best advice is to check the depth first. There are ways around the holes that might be just as tricky for other reasons. If you are smart, you should be ok.
