Maintenance/Repair shop suggustions?

I'm new to this forum and would like to know if anyone can suggest a good automotive shop to take my Wrangler 4x4 4dr too. I live in the Atlanta area and don't know who I can trust. I've been going to the dealer but now I need the 30k maintenance done and they want a fortune to do it. Can anybody help me?

Tryin' to take good care of my baby,
Allison

I might be able to help you, I am in the Atlanta area. I do most of my own maintenance, and I also have some really good mechanic friends. Just let me know if you want me to help you out.

i say the best thing to do is referrals. dealerships are not the answer, they suck most of the time. and they do not do any better job than an independent shop, and worse than a good established shop.

ask around, and don't just go with whoever's cheap. ase certified is a plus, and i'd stay away from tire and lube shops. even repair shops will have teenagers doing tires and lube, but also maintenance and fluids. where i work, i am, and we only employ certified techs, and we do all the work, no teenager doing maintenance, or learning on your car.

I always feel like I'm getting ripped off for some reason at the dealer. Thanks for all the advice.
