There are a couple actually. Georgia Modified SUV and Trucks, and Georgia Southern Offroad are the ones I can think off the top of my head. Georgia Southern Offroad is bigger due to the fact that Southern Offroad Specialists sponsors them if you know of that shop. I live in Alpharetta which is not too far from you. Mainly though, I just call up a bunch of people and hit the trails! I hope this helps!

I am president of an Atlanta based 4 wheel drive club called the Georgia Bounty Runners. We are a family based club that is focused on safe off roading. We have vehicles from stock to stupid.

Check out our website at GBR 4wd Club... Wheeling in Atlanta

Thanks

akswinehart, I am also in Habersham. I have actually been looking at putting something together up here. I used to own Sr350 if you are familiar with that. I like Poorboyz but they are mainly crawlers and mine is not. lol. I would like to put something together with no dues and we would have a site and all. If anyone else is interested let me know and maybe we can come up with something.

Ha HA, no, actually changed my mind about the whole club thing anyways. I will just call freinds and plan something when I get mine done.

Check out www.northgajeepers.com. I met them this past weekend and enjoyed the feeling from the group. This is who I'll be wheeling with. Plus, since we're both in Canton, maybe we'll get the chance to do some last moment riding.

Never good to wheel solo... And Beasley can be REALLY nasty if it has been wet, at all.

If you guys want to meet a bunch of local Jeep owners, come out to the Stick It 2 Cancer Jeep Meet & Greet in Cumming this Thursday. There will be members from quite a few different clubs coming out. It will be a good chance to get info on the North Georgia trail area.

All the info:
Stick It 2 Cancer - Jeep Meet & Greet (Cumming, GA)

Hope to see you all there.
