New Jeep Owner

Ya'll have another new Jeep owner in Georgia! First time owning a Jeep but I look forward to it as well as the Mods and a little time starting to off road!! I'm NW of Atl in the Dallas / Hiram area.

Looks like a great community and a ton of information so I'll be keeping my eye on the forum...in the meantime .... my new ride!

HA! Turning this into an SEC forum! Yep...GO GATORS!

Thanks for the welcome everyone, I'll be sure to wave and keep an eye out for my fellow Paulding County folks! Maybe I'll get some free time soon and learn a little more about the off road portion but either way....I'm glad I decided on a Jeep...It's a ball to drive around in!

Only had the top folded back so far due to all the rain but I plan to soon! I have to drive it every day so I didn't feel like riding to work soaking wet Is it hard to remove the doors?

Not at all. Two bolts underneath the hinges, lift up and you're done.

Take off the torx connectors on the outside, disconnect the wire harness by sliding the lock clasp over, undo the retaining strap (don't let the door swing open or she'll get dimples on the cowl), lift doors off and store.

Forgot about those things on the inside. That strap can be a bit of a pain in the arse.

Sup Mike.

The straps are good to have on, the torx are worthless I think.

Thank goodness...it was only a split second, I knew it was about JEEPS...but I just had to share my own stupidity. (Ima girl. Its allowed. Its not logic, it just is, lol)

My top comes down every chance I get. I really want to brave the doors, guess I gotta clean out the garage first.
