Newb from Atlanta checking in

Hey Georgia folks

I am looking at a JKURX and live in Atlanta. I think it will be a little different than the 1982 CJ7 I had 20 years ago.

I have been to Ed Voyels a couple of times and like the guy I have spoken with.
I have some mods in mind and he told
me I should talk to the folks at Fortec.

Anyway heys to all my fellow Georgians.

Welcome. Fortec is reputable but be sure to shop around. I'm a fan of SBC Offroad in Gainesville, GA.

I live on the west side of Atlanta and use BCH Offroad in Carrollton but, like they said shop around and do your homework. BCH is on Facebook and usually had a monthly ride. Hope to see you on the trails!!

While Ed Voyles is great, I'd avoid Fortec altogether honestly. Check out BCH, or JeepHut in Jasper for parts and installs. Or, if you like to do things hands on, a number of us here do installs for beers too.

I really need to go to BCH some day. They can't be more than 20 miles from my house.

Hey Kappaknight.. I was pretty excited to see another Commando JK 2 sundays ago.. was surprised that I recognized it as yours. Was passing through cumberland/cobb pkwy. Love the hood decals! I waved even though you it was parked

After speaking to many places about outfitting my JKU (Southern Offroad Specialists, Forec, JeepHut, ect.) All South Auto in Buford is by far my favorite. The guys are awesome to work with and also have great prices.

Welcome! I use Jeephut for local work and some parts. The rest I shop on line and use forum discounts and put them on myself.
