Until I get new tires, I need to be smart and not take risks. At this point, my balls are as big as my wallet is deep.......and diminishing

My brother has been out there a few times (I've never been) and apparently there's a lot of things to ride on. There was even a deuce and a half one time he was there.
I went out here a few weeks ago and the police were sitting at the entrance. I stopped and asked them about it and they said that they have had a lot of issues with kids getting crazy and drunks getting out of hand. They have started watching it more close, from what they said, it is owned by the bank (they were not sure) but it legally is NOT open for people to be riding. They have been instructed to monitor the situation and if they feel like fining or arresting it is at the option of the police on duty. Just saying....... The lady told us to go ahead but we decided to not try it out.

For those of us going North, we can meet at the intersection of Mill Creek Rd and Hwy 9 (Dawsonville Hwy) around 10:00

For me personally, just because the cop said go ahead still does not make it right or legal BUT the larger issue for me is that for my job, I travel out of country a good bit and if you have any type of record/arrest, it can bar you from being able to enter certain countries and I could lose my job. so for me the cost is much more than many others.

well, this is not a debate thread nor am I trying to persuade anyone to go, I respect your decision. There are two options for people which is good.

I'll see you at 10 trailsnail. Is there a store on the corner there to meet at? It looked like it on satellite.

Hopefully those of you going to the grove have a good time. Post some pics up! Legality issues aside, don't get too close to the quarry that the grove backs up to. According to my brother doing so is frowned upon.

Very nice ride. I think all 18 rigs found something they could enjoy.

Yeah. If it's the one I'm thinking of I rode it the whole way. It was too muddy to get out of.
