Sheep Wallow

So my friend and I are planning on riding Sheep Wallow trail tomorrow. However, I am worried about all this rain today. A couple of weeks ago we stumbled upon the trail and rode it while it was raining. However, we didn't venture too far because we were afraid we would get stuck very easily and not be able to get back out as the clay is very very slippery and neither of us have a winch. I am running a 4" lift with 35 M/T baja series tires, and I was wondering if anyone has input on whether it is safe to go there while/after it has rained. We have been looking forward to this since last week so I don't want to travel up there and have it be a bust. Thanks!

My friend's jeep has a 3" lift with 33s. Do we have enough to where we shouldn't have to worry about getting stuck?

That place is hot mess when wet. I have done it but for me it's much more enjoyable when dry. Do you at least have recovery points and tow straps? Always a chance of getting stuck there, especially when wet.

Thanks, yeah we decided not to go but instead wait awhile and go in a few weeks. Yes we have tow straps! Hoping to get a winch soon thanks.
