We missed a bit of trail to the East when we turned back up the hills after the big mud hole. My daughter and I went out today on a whim. The spot she got stuck was in the area we skipped.

Unedited photo bucket dump.

Yeah, worth a trip back for sure. Didn't miss a ton but some more good rutted hills with multiple routes.

It's real close, near the southern part of the Chattahoochee.

Start with a buddy. I know other people do it but I wouldn't go out alone. Start a thread with the date you'd like to go and narrow down the spot through recommendations. Work out the logistics with everyone about where to meet (again these local guys will usually have recommendations) and show up!!

No worries and welcome! The way things have been going, you can usually find someone going out just about every weekend.

I know Atlanta Jeepers (FB) is trying to put something together for this weekend. Might want to check them out.

Welcome. I was in the same boat, being away from Jeeps for many years before getting another one a couple years ago.

Watch this Georgia section of the forum, we are fairly active. Tell us a little about your Jeep and what part of GA are you in?

I'm in Smokerise(tucker/stn mtn). I bought a 2013 Sahara have done a couple mods so far, 2.5" lift, terra graps, plastidip all exterior chrome, removed decals, drawtie, floor liners/ mats. Hoist for hardtop. Hardtop is a little different than my old 95 model with soft top. Actually the whole shootin match is a little different, but its still a jeep. And it's great. Glad to be back.

Are you still running your stock rims or did you change with the nittos?

@cleveland No, I just used my powers of JKP, lol, but seriously, do enough tire research and you hear these names in your sleep.

@jkudawg Cool, do you get any rub on a sharp turn with those tires? I decided to keep my stock wheels and I'm running 385/65/18 Firestone Destination MTs. I get a little rub on (i think) my control arm in a full turn. They have a lot of bite. No lift yet. My next move in that respect is to get some high line fenders and pull out those bulky factory liners. Maybe put on a wheel spacer.
